FACT:  They are more likely to be the victims than the perpetrators of violence and abuse.
MYTH:  If you develop a mental health problem you have it for life?
FACT:  There are many sources of support available and most problems are very treatable.

Some Tips For Staying Mentally Healthy…

Don’t let worries get out of control talk to someone you trust about how you are feeling.

Keep a healthy work-life balance – make time for yourself to do the things you enjoy.

Try to engage in some form of physical activity to boost your mood and reduce anxiety.

Keep in touch with family and friends

Eat well a balanced diet is essential to maintaining good mental and physical health.

Sleep well – A lack of sleep not only causes you to feel tired but is also associated with poor mental health. Try to get about eight hours sleep every night
